Network Marketing Success – Entrepreneur Or an Opportunity Seeker, is There a Difference?

There is something people who are entering network marketing arena need to understand before learning and applying any marketing mechanics or strategies. And what we are going to cover here is the difference between being a REAL entrepreneur compared to a “Business Opportunity Seeker.” And believe me when I tell you that the difference is absolutely staggering. In order for you to succeed in home business arena, you have to make sure you LEAVE the business opportunity seeker mindset once and for all and enter into the world of a real entrepreneurship.

The business opportunity seeker more than likely will need succeed no matter what you give them or show them how to do; they are not geared for success. They are not prepared for success and most of the time they don’t even deserve success.

Those people expect thing to happen to them and they buy in to some hyped up opportunity and say ‘I hope it works.’

There is a fundamental difference in the way an entrepreneur thinks compared to a business opportunity seeker. An entrepreneur does not HOPE things work out, they MAKE things work out for them. They make things happen to them because it TRULY is a choice to whether you make it or not.

You see, what most people leave out of business opportunity presentations is that you are not a network marketing distributor, you are actually an ENTREPRENEUR who is running a real BIG BUSINESS.

And being an entrepreneur is DAMN difficult if you haven’t realized yet. The phrase “Only the STRONG will survive” seems to hold pretty true. The not so strong ones who haven’t developed the internal qualities and characteristics that allow them to overcome obstacles break down adversity and find solutions to all problems that might rise in their life or business.

And because of that, the not so strong ones generally get weeded out of the entrepreneurship very quickly. It’s just that simple.

So in order for you to be in the small percentage that will not just survive but actually FLOURISH and create amazing success and beautiful things, you need to understand what it takes to be in that bracket. You need to DEVELOP yourself into the entrepreneur it takes to be to reach you goal. THAT is where mindset comes in…

If you didn’t put time into laying the proper framework for what it takes to become an entrepreneur, it becomes much easier to quit on yourself when you hit obstacle that are bigger than the reason you are in a home business. But once you built a solid foundation within yourself and have aligned yourself with the attitude, mentalities, emotions, traits, rituals and behaviors that systematically create success in any business, you will never give up, you have begun building a STRONG foundation for your business.

You are guaranteed to face rough times, obstacles, challenges, setbacks, total failures and disappointments, but with this sturdy foundation you will be able to handle and overcome them all. Obstacles are naturally built in your path to success and if you are not ready for them, you will quit like the other 95% of the marketers.

The universe will make you EARN and DESERVE every bit of wealth you create. It will test and weed out all who came in for the quick fix or quick buck but are not actually willing to give more of themselves than they expected.

Being an entrepreneur is really about one thing and one thing only… Growth. And within growth there are many facets. Dedication, persistence, endurance, kindness, wisdom, love, discovery… these are all qualities that will lead to massive growth of your being. And in that growth you will become far more powerful then you are now, and much more able to manifest success at will.

So are you a real entrepreneur or just a business opportunity seeker who is here for a quick buck? Research and investigate your motives, because I can guarantee you something for sure. You have a choice now to win or to quit, and if you are an entrepreneur – you will win and conquer your business. But if you are a business opportunity seeker…oh my, you are destined for failure.

You don’t have to quit though if you discovered you are here for a quick buck. You can start working on developing yourself so you become valuable to people around you and you will become an entrepreneur.

Network Marketing Secrets – What Does Success in Network Marketing Depend On?

There is a well know problem in network marketing…some people make it, most people quit. Why is that? What makes success in this marvelous industry? We have 2 people from the same company working as hard, applying same strategies, but after 3 years in business one has made it to the top and another one is barely paying the bills if not out of the business already. Just three years were able to make such a great difference!!! So what does success depend on particularly in home based businesses?

What I am about to share you either already know and on your way to success or have never heard about it. Maybe you have but did not think that those guys were serious when they told you that. Anyway, this stuff is for real and you either believe it or not. In fact most people do not believe it is the success factor – thus 95% of people in this industry fail.

You can learn all about the best marketing strategies in existence, most cutting edge techniques that truly created a ton of success for people who applied them. You may have gathered all the knowledge about online and offline marketing methods, but you may still fail…

I have seen many people make it and fail at it. And the only difference was that little factor. They all started off excited and worked hard, but for some reason only a few stayed after a year of work. Some lasted only a month, others a few months, it all depended on how much “business stamina” they had in them.

OK enough of keeping it a secret. So what is the business stamina that literally determines your success? Personal Growth, that’s right its not some ethical principles, its EVERYTHING.

That is the reason why so many people will leave their new business after about 60 days. That is what it takes to figure out that there is more to becoming successful in this arena than a descent comp plan or a good company.

Personal Development or Growth takes a lot of effort and time, but without it you are destined for failure. What can you give to the world if you have nothing to give? Why would people join you – because people join people, not companies – what do you have that they don’t?

You see, you really have to become valuable to people for them to chase you and follow you. You can try chasing them and see how long you will last, but I don’t think too long. People will come to you when they can benefit from you and that’s what personal growth will give you – value to give to others.

Start building your personal value. Start reading books about personal development and the mindset of an entrepreneur. Study successful people and read what they read, listen to what they listen, become THEM!

Now if you are here for a quick buck, or you have been told that if you do ’1 2 3′ you will make a ton of money, then it is not for you. The universe will haunt you down, test you and determine if you deserve success. It will weed out every opportunity seeker, and only the real entrepreneurs will stay and benefit from the riches of our fair universe.

It is not too late to start working on your mindset and to start becoming an entrepreneur. It is not a CHANCE anymore, you now have a CHOICE and whether you choose to succeed depends solely on you and YOU alone. Nobody can help you create success, you can take their knowledge and study how they became what they are and COPY it, but YOU and only YOU will have to create success for yourself.

I hope I did not hurt your feelings, because if I DID, oh my, wait till the universe gets to you. I hope you understood this simple yet CRUCIAL message about success. I hope you will take and apply this piece of wisdom to your life only to seek more…but when you start becoming more, success will chase you down.

Are Old School Marketing Methods Really Dead For Dream Style Vacations?

There is a new business venture called Dream Style Vacation Club. Some leaders in this company are pushing new recruits to learn the craft of online marketing telling them this is the best way to market now day.

They are pointing to people in today’s society who are locked up in their houses hiding behind the computer screens with tall wall around guarding them from solicitors. They are telling chasing your friends and family is not ethical, cold call people form yellow pages and knock on doors like people used to do in and before the 90’s.

They say that buying leads is for suckers and that you should generate your own leads. They point out to their top positions in search engines and all the free targeted traffic they are getting from it. They point out to their nice, attractive and converting capture pages they use for Pay-Per-Click campaigns and the great results they produce. And after the newbies have been brain-washed about all those new marketing strategies, what would they think?

That’s a great question and I am going to get into that a little later, but right now I would like to discuss the marketing strategies.

I want to inform you that I am in no way reffering to any particular person in this company and especially not to my team leaders. I wasn’t pressured into anything so that is not where I am coming from. My Sponsors are excellent mentors for me who taught me everything I know. I am a great fan of online marketing, and I love the fact that we can utilize the internet to grow our businesses but I would like to dispute the negative perception of old school marketing first.

Let’s take a look at our industry leaders who have made it huge in this industry. Did they skip the old school approach and just jumped into online marketing whenever they got started? Listen to what many of them have to say, they encourage people to go ahead and cold call a couple thousand people to get over the fear of the phone and to learn how to talk to prospects. Even if you learn how to generate a ton of traffic online but would not have the art of talking to a prospect, you will lose most of them.

It is very crucial to understand that online marketing is very powerful but if you think you will not have to be talking to people on the phone, you are mistaken. If you are not proficient at talking to people, if you did not overcome the fear of the phone, you will not succeed online either.

Anyway, what does all this have to do with this business? You know, when I first joined Dream Style Vacation Club, I got introduced to online marketing. I thought I finally found the missing piece to why I was failing and got really excited. I started working, but after a week of training and work, when I realized what I will have to go through to get this done, I was in despair. I wanted to quit right there, and I would if not for my great sponsors. I did get through the learning curve, but many don’t.

The problem is that it will take time to get your website optimized fro search engines and it will take lots of time to learn online marketing in general before you even apply it. Of course I am glad I did, but the problem that I saw in my business was that many of my new team mates would stop working because they got confused by this online marketing which they were unfamiliar with before. And confused people do nothing.

So I had a bunch of people sitting around not even going through the simple step by step training that I provided for them. The problem is that people joined Dream Style Vacation Club to get results not education. They were desperate for money, not knowledge. Of course there were enough people who continued learning online marketing, but others needed something they could plug into and generate results.

So don’t rush into thinking that old school marketing is useless, it is necessary to at least get educated a little and them you can modify it to present time and have people plug in and succeed. I mean instead of friends and family approach use post cards or drop cards or anything else that works really great today. That way you will have every single member of your team marketing however they choose.

So what is the deal with Network marketing now?

All of a sudden there are millions of Americans joining Network Marketing…

Perhaps you heard rumors that today are the best times in the history to join Network Marketing or any Home Based Business. There are many recorded tapes of Ney Sayers who are scaring the living day lights out of naïve people who lost their jobs and about to lose hope of ever finding one. This is the issue and a big question today, so let’s try to investigate what is going on.

Are those Ney Sayers and Naive people are really that? Are they really just trying to scare people because they want their down-lines to grow? It would be true if it wasn’t for the Federal government who stated in mid 2009 that in the next 3 years there will be 110 million Home Based Business owners in United States Alone, and 80% of them will be Network Marketing. Why? Because there are many companies who closed their doors in the last year and let their employees go, and many more companies are going to do in 2010, but did they really close their doors for good, are they not going to reopen and hire their employees back?

They will reopen, but not in USA, those companies moved and will move to cheap labor countries like India, China, Mexico, etc., and they do and will continue to hire employees, but not from US.

As a strong proof of that happening let’s take into consideration one little factor. For the last who knows how many years there were about 7 million people on Home Based Businesses or Network Marketing. Just in 2009 we had 13 million new Home Based Business owners appear in USA, totaling in 20 million Network marketers as of today. Those are shocking news. Never in our history there was such a huge wave of entrepreneurship arising.

All this that already happened is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what’s coming. Of course it does not mean that nobody will have a job, 50% of people will, but the rest will be practically forced to start a Home Based Business.

These facts are true for USA only, nobody knows how it will be for the rest of the world, because India, China, Mexico and other cheap-labor countries will have jobs, lots of them, but people living in USA and Canada will have to become entrepreneurs.

So why Network Marketing Anyway? Why would anybody need to worry about a Home Based Business today when they still have a job, and maybe a good one? If you are not a naïve person, if you can see little farther than your nose, if you are not hiding your head into the sand, then you can clearly see the benefits of joining a Home Business right now when the popular growth didn’t happen yet, it’s starting to happen, but it just a tip of an iceberg like I said before.

Everybody who is already in Network Marketing and who is joining right now have the greatest advantage over the ones who will join in a year or two. I am not saying they won’t make any money, they will, but not the kind of money that today’s entrepreneurs have the potential to make. Plus, marketers today don’t even need to convince anybody about joining; people are jumping in like mad. It’s a Gold Rush of 21^st Century. It Is, But It’s Useless Without Old-School Marketing Skills Like Cold Calling, etc.

Before you start reading this post, I want to inform you that I am in no way reffering to any particular person in this company and especially not to my team leaders. I wasn’t pressured into anything so that is not where I am coming from. My Sponsors are excellent mentors for me who taught me everything I know. I am a great fan of online marketing, and I love the fact that we can utilize the internet to grow our businesses but I would like to dispute the negative perception of old school marketing first. But Here We Go…

Modern marketing mentors are preaching Attraction Marketing. They are saying cold calling and chasing friends and family is the thing of the past. They will expose you to some awakening statistics how they generate hundreds of leads every single day without cold calling a single prospect. They teach you all about setting up your blog, optimizing it for search engines, writing articles and creating videos for back-links, creating auto-responder emails and so on.

The list of the required things to do keeps getting bigger as the competition is growing every day. They will sell you books and CD’s teaching you “all” you need to know about Attraction Marketing Strategies and Online marketing Strategies. Eventually you will really learn how to generate free or paid leads every day who will be bombarded with your follow-up emails. You will even have many of them calling you like they promised you and wanting to get in.

If you have experienced your business growth up to this point or farther, you know what I am talking about when I say there is one extremely important thing that’s left out, one very important skill. Your mentors didn’t tell you that either because they forgot they possess it and you need it too in order to succeed or they just don’t want too much competition.

Every single technique I mentioned above is mandatory to do in order to create success. Yes, you do need to have a branded capture page and an optimized blog for your leads to be sent to and you do need those follow up emails because they bring results even 2 or 4 weeks after somebody subscribed to your auto-responder, but that alone will not get you anywhere except you can start selling targeted leads to others.

In order to be able to convert that lead into a sale, most often you will have to talk to them on the phone, and if you never learned how to dominate a conversation over the phone or in person, you wasted you time and money on everything else you did up to this point. In order to bring key people aboard you have to talk better than your potential sale. I am not talking about hype; you just have to have the experience to know what and how to say it.

What your mentors didn’t tell you is that before they started marketing online, they were going door to door, chasing friends and family, cold calling and doing everything they are telling you is useless to do. Is ti really useless though? Isn’t how they acquired their skills to dominate a conversation? Isn’t it their communication skills that made you learn from them?

It is, isn’t it? So what is the solution, should every marketer who didn’t have any prior experience of offline marketing and cold calling leads forget about being successful online? NO, of course not. It is never too late to grab the yellow pages and start calling people you don’t know pitching them on your opportunity. Don’t even care if they join or not, in fact you are doing it just to acquire that skill of talking to people. Talk to a 1000-2000 people from yellow pages or any other directory, then you can convert your prospects into sales like a science.

Just before you do that, check out Mike Dillard’s Black Belt Recruiting Course where he reveals his secrets on how he is converting such incredible amounts of people every single month. That will give you the basic and advanced knowledge of talking to a prospect. After that you can grab the phone and you will be surprised when at least 2% of people you talk to from some directory will join your business.

In conclusion I want to say that modern marketing really is the only way to build Network Marketing business today, but not without the skills of old school marketing which you can easily acquire if you get your hands of a few pieces of valuable information guides.

As many of you know, there is a new business venture called Dream Style vacation Club. There is a lot of buzz on the internet about it and like many others, you’re probably wondering what is so special about DSVC when there are about two or three new companies start up every single week.

Let’s take a close look at the world today and let’s figure out what are people looking for in a home business. Considering today’s recession and the fact that most people who are looking to start a business today are broke. When I was reviewing this opportunity, the low cost of $97 dollars is a downfall in a way because that means that there is not a lot of money to be made up-front, but what I understood was that people would join a lot easier and quicker for this price and once they join and see results they can and most do upgrade to a higher level. Plus you will turn your $97 into $5000 when you cycle out of stage two.

NETWORK Marketing – Mindset for Success. Do You Have The Mentality Of Giving Or Taking? The Scam

People With The Mentality Of Taking And Receiving.

What do you except from network marketing? Do you see this business as giving or receiving? What do most marketers do, give or take? How is it working out? People are becoming more and more skeptical to join any business because of the many times they failed, and most of them failed because their recruiter didn’t care about them, he cared about the sale.

Hello, I would like to discuss one of the biggest issues that exist in Network Marketing today. Out of many network marketing problems, we have a HUGE problem with keeping people in our businesses after the sale. If you look at the statistics, there is 95% failure in any given business whether it’s a high or low ticket opportunity, whether it’s a high, low or even no monthly autoship.

Network Marketers today promise their recruits quick cash and quick fixes to their financial problems. They attract people with a bunch of hype, cars, mentions, money, you name it, and because of the current financial hardships, people join new businesses like nonstop. That is the good part of the problem; we need people to be looking for opportunities. Now, the bad part is that most people don’t stick around for long, do they? Any given marketer today went through at least 3-5 companies, leaving their current business and joining another one thinking their failure was due to the poor comp plan, poor leadership, poor products, etc. THE Recruiters are jumping one in front of the other trying to convince the opportunity seekers that their business is finally the one that will make them rich, finally a business that has the perfect comp plan or finally a company that has a new marketing “SYSTEM”.

The poor opportunity seekers are joining a new company and statistically, within their first 60 days or less are changing their business. In another words, there is 80% of people who are just wasting money without making a dime. Another 15% are making some supplemental income that keeps them going and only 5% of people who make full time income and are the TOP income earners.

This may be where you are currently stuck, busy joining new businesses thinking that the last business was a bad choice. Well, probably you are going to say the same thing about your next business venture in two months. Let’s figure out why you failed again and again and again. The problem is that 98% of the people do not know how to market. They are taught to chase their friends and family because that’s the “SYSTEM” and that is what the “TOP DOGS” did. The truth is that your company does not need everybody to be successful; all they need you for is to be another sales person for their product. They don’t care whether you make any money or not, as long as many people do a few sales, the company profits big time.

This is the sad truth and it has been on my mind for the last couple of years. I can’t stand looking at it; my heart literally hurts when I look at those confused and skeptical opportunity seekers not knowing what the problem is. This is the mentality of taking my friends, and let me tell you something, that is short term thinking, it’s not going to make you wealthy.

This is what network marketing means for most people, this is why many people say it’s a SCAM, and it is if you run your business that way.

Wait, wasn’t it suppose to be a business of helping people succeed and live their dreams. You joined because you were told that you were in a business of “if you help enough people get what they want, you will get all you want”. Isn’t it funny that you find yourself more in a business of ripping people off, making false promises of helping them succeed without knowing yourself what it takes to make it? Well, it’s not your fault, you just weren’t told the truth to what it takes to help yourself and people that you brought aboard. Let me tell you, there is a way to truthfully help people succeed in your business and eventually helping yourself get what you want, live your dreams.

The answer is in your mindset, in your mentality, in the way you think and look at network marketing. Most people have the take or receive mentality. They recruit people to benefit from them and they don’t care whether those people make it or not. Trust me, that’s most people’s mentality, I was shocked when I was interviewing most marketers. I cannot stress enough how crucial it is that you focus on your team’s success first and foremost, literally letting go of your desire to make money, letting go of the thought that you are doing it for money. When you understand that your happiness does not depend on acquiring something, then you can truly help another achieve success, and when you do that, success will CHASE YOU. You have to realize that this business only works if you truly want to give, if you are truly helping people succeed. But how are you going to do that if you don’t know how, if you do not have any value to give?

First, do not join a business where your sponsor does not know more than “friends and family” System. He is stuck in the 90’s and you are in 2010. People are WAY different than 20 years ago. Make sure your sponsor knows what to do when you run out of friends and family. If your sponsor does not have a proven, and not just by him, online and offline system, you’re going to waste your time and money.

Second, please do not recruit people in your business if you are not 100% sure you can guarantee their success when they follow your system step by step, whether it is online of offline. If you do not have a step by step guide that can make an average person wealthy, than you are ripping people off by signing them up into your business. This kind of business is not going to last. Friends and family strategy works, but only for people with business backgrounds who have thousands of people they personally know. An average person does not know very many people, or his friends and family have been pitched into businesses before and they do not even want to hear about it anymore. So what is next? It is a very good idea to be proficient in online and offline marketing because you are working with different people and not everybody can do one or the other. Make sure you have those questions answered and ready if you truly want to help people and eventually create success for yourself. One does not happen without the other.

Dream Style Vacation Club MONEY EXPOSED!!!

As you probably already know, there is a lot of buzz on the Internet about Dream Style Vacation Club, and all for a good reason. Dream Style Vacations has an industry first compensation plan and unlike many other companies, a product that stands on its own. Members of Dream Style Vacations are truly benefiting by saving thousands of dollars on their dream vacations and just simple travel. All these benefits would be in place even if there was no compensation plan attached.

But the fact that Dream Style Vacations Club was paying out SO much money really troubled me. The last thing I want is to recruit a bunch of people into a company that will be around for a few short years or even less.
